“I’m going to be a great dad and a great player,” says Kia mound gem Im Ki-young

KIA Tigers pitcher Lim Ki-young, 30, has given birth to a baby boy.

Im’s wife, Kim Mi-eum, gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 3.06 kilograms at 1:06 p.m. on April 18 at W Hospital in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, and both mother and child are in good health.안전놀이터

The couple, who have been calling the baby “Gidonga,” have not yet named him.

“I’m very grateful to my wife for giving birth to a healthy son, and I’m very happy,” said Lim, adding, “I will do my best to be a good father and a good player at home and on the field.”

This season, Lim has been the crown jewel of the KIA mound with a 4-3 record, three saves and 15 holds in 55 games and 75⅔ innings pitched. He has been a reliable backstop, stepping up to the plate whenever the team needs him, helping to keep KIA in the hunt for a top-five finish.
