Liverpool interested in signing Neto if ‘Saudi big money’ Salah leaves

Liverpool are preparing for a move for Mohamed Salah, who is being courted by Saudi Arabia. If Salah does leave, the Reds will target Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Pedro Neto.

The Saudis were the stars of last summer’s transfer window. After making a serious European push last winter with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudis have brought in a number of players this summer. Real Madrid ace and 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino are all world-class players. With Neymar heading to Saudi Arabia, it’s a star-studded roster that could rival any of Europe’s big leagues.

Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, said of the Saudi influence: “It’s huge right now. It’s clear that the Saudis are already having an impact on football, and now we have to know how to deal with it. That’s all I can say, and time will take care of itself.”

‘Pharaoh’ Salah has also been targeted by the Saudis. Egyptian-born Salah is a Liverpool ‘legend’. He tasted English Premier League (EPL) failure once with Chelsea, but gained experience with Fiorentina and Roma and became a top player in his second stint.

Regarded as one of the best players in Liverpool’s history, Salah received a huge offer from the Saudis. According to Sky Sports, “Al Ittihad have maintained their desire to sign Salah. Liverpool have rejected a £150million bid from Al Ittihad to sign Salah, but Al Ittihad have not given up on him. They will come back with a better offer,” said Sky Sports.온라인바카라

Salah’s choice was to stay at Liverpool. Despite the chance to leave with a huge transfer fee and salary, Salah chose to stay at Liverpool. However, Saudi Arabia’s pursuit of Salah is set to continue, with reports in Europe suggesting that Salah could be heading to Saudi Arabia in the next summer transfer window.

In this situation, Liverpool are preparing a replacement. Wolverhampton flanker Nettu is reportedly on the list. “If Salah does leave, Liverpool are interested in bringing in Nettu,” reports Football Transfer, which specializes in European transfers.

Neymar is one of many players who have been dubbed the “next Ronaldo” since he rose to prominence as a youngster. He went through six youth teams before making his professional debut for Braga in 2017, and was soon sent out on loan to Lazio. His performances earned him a permanent move to Lazio in 2019, but he soon joined Wolverhampton for a fee of €18 million.

After joining Wolverhampton, he immediately established himself as a key player. He has been hampered by a major knee injury, but when fit, he can lead Wolverhampton’s attack and is an all-rounder who has represented Portugal at both age groups and the national team.
